Paediatric SHO & Registrar (Locum and Stand-Alone Posts)
Opalus Healthcare is seeking experienced and compassionate Paediatrics SHOs and Registrars for roles across both public and private hospitals in Ireland. Positions are available on a locum or contract basis (6–12 months), with full-time and part-time flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver acute and routine medical care to neonates, children, and adolescents.
* Perform clinical assessments, diagnostics, and implement treatment plans.
* Respond to emergencies and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
* Maintain accurate medical records and support clinical audits.
* Registrars may also supervise junior doctors and assist in training.
Requirements:
* IMC Registration (General or Specialist Division).
* Minimum 2 years of post-internship experience in paediatrics.
* Strong clinical and communication skills.
* Flexibility to work in different locations across Ireland.
* Work permit or right to work in Ireland.
* Experience in the Irish healthcare system.
* NRP or PALS certification.
* Commitment to continued professional development.
