Bid Writer

The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring bids are competitive, compelling, and aligned with client requirements, ultimately contributing to the company's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and write persuasive bid and proposal documents across a range of projects.
* Tailor submissions to reflect project-specific requirements, language, and evaluation criteria.
* Collaborate with project managers, estimators, engineers, SHESQ professionals, and other departments to gather accurate and relevant information.
* Research site conditions, project scope, and client priorities to strengthen bid content.
* Keep up to date with industry developments and competitor positioning to enhance bid quality.
* Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain supporting technical and commercial information.
Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in bid writing, ideally within the
construction, infrastructure, or engineering
sector.
* Strong writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style.
* Detail-oriented, highly organised, and able to manage multiple bids to tight deadlines.
* A collaborative team player who can work effectively across departments and with external partners.
* Knowledge of the Irish construction sector would be very advantageous.
