Vickerstock in partnership with an incredible food manufacturing company is currently on the lookout for an experienced Quality Manager Key Responsibilities Implement and maintain a Quality Monitoring System, ensuring 100% of products dispatched meet agreed customer specifications at all times.
Implement and maintain a fully compliant, audit-ready Quality Management System aligned with all customer standards and Codes of Practice.
Maintain and exceed BRC AA++ grade standards.
Ensure all Quality Control Points remain in control at all times.
Lead a hands-on site inspection programme ensuring all prerequisite programmes (PRPs) are adhered to; liaise with all departments to drive quick resolution of non-compliances.
Lead the QA Technician team, including recruitment, training, performance management, development and retention.
Manage the review process for all SOPs, material specifications and finished product specifications; ensure clear communication of updates to staff, suppliers and customers.
Support all departments in the delivery of training related to product safety, legality and quality.
Continuously challenge and strengthen the Quality System through robust internal audits.
Maintain accurate daily, weekly and monthly Quality performance reports, including trend analysis of non-conformances, for Senior Management.
Drive rapid mitigation and elimination of any product or process risks, identifying and removing root causes of non-conformances.
Act as the primary Quality contact for all 1st, 2nd and 3rd party audits and manage audit preparation and close-out.

Experience & Qualifications Minimum 2 yearsproven experience working specifically as a Quality Manager in a food manufacturing environment (essential).
Must have the right to work full-time in Ireland.
Working knowledge of project management processes.
Strong understanding of: HACCP BRC AA grade compliance Major Multiple Retailer standards Internal and external auditing Experience in a bakery environment is an advantage.
Education: Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related discipline (minimum requirement).
