The Hotel Kilmore in Cavan, part of Calusade Hotels group, is currently hiring a Sales and Marketing Manager.

POSITION SUMMARY The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for driving total hotel revenue at Hotel Kilmore through proactive sales leadership, strategic marketing execution and disciplined commercial management.
The role focuses on Rooms, Meetings & Events, Food & Beverage and Leisure segments.
The position requires strong forecasting capability, pipeline management, digital marketing collaboration and close operational alignment to ensure budget delivery, ADR growth and market share expansion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Revenue Delivery Achieve annual Rooms, M&E and F&B revenue targets.
Contribute to budgeting and monthly forecasting with 5% variance tolerance.
Sales Strategy Develop and implement annual sales plan aligned to segment mix, ADR strategy and need period targeting.
Corporate & MICE Development Grow corporate accounts, local business relationships and association segments within Cavan and surrounding counties.
Digital & Marketing Execution Work with Group Marketing to execute campaigns, promotions and database marketing to drive occupancy and events.
Pipeline & CRM Management Maintain accurate CRM tracking, conversion metrics (target 35%+), response time under 4 hours and lost business analysis.
Account Management Conduct structured quarterly reviews with top revenue accounts and implement retention strategy.
Brand Representation Represent Kilmore Hotel at trade shows, networking events and industry forums.
Reporting & Analytics Produce weekly commercial dashboard: Revenue vs Budget, ADR, Rev PAR, Conversion %, Pipeline Value and Market Intelligence.
Operational Collaboration Ensure seamless handover to operations for events and group bookings, maintaining guest journey excellence.

STANDARDS & COMPLIANCE Adhere to Calusade Hotels Commercial SOPs and brand standards.
Maintain accurate forecasting and disciplined reporting structures.
Ensure compliance with financial controls and billing procedures.
Uphold Health & Safety, Fire, Security and Data Protection policies.
Demonstrate alignment with Calusade Vision, Mission and Core Values.

CANDIDATE PROFILE Minimum 35 years experience in hotel sales leadership role.
Strong knowledge of Irish regional corporate and leisure markets.
Proven record of achieving revenue growth targets.
Commercially astute with strong analytical capability.
Proficient in CRM and sales reporting systems.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
