This is not just another "Senior" role; it is a strategic hire designed to find a future leader for the firm.The firm has a clear, meritocratic vision for this hire:Entry to Partner-track: Within 3 years.Progression to Junior Partner: Within 5 years.Long-term: A defined route toward full Equity Partnership.The RoleReporting directly to the Directors, you will manage a diverse portfolio of SME clients, acting as their primary advisor and technical lead.Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting: Prepare year-end financial statements for audit-exempt entities under FRS 102 Section 1A and Irish GAAP.Audit & Compliance: Assist in planning and executing statutory audits, including risk assessments and fieldwork.Taxation: Manage CT1 computations, VAT compliance (including property and reverse charge), and self-assessment returns.Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, and review the work of trainees and junior associates.Strategic Advisory: Provide proactive advice on company structures, tax planning, and cash-flow management.The RequirementsQualified Accountant: (ACA, ACCA, or CPA) with a strong background in an Irish practice environment.Technical Excellence: Deep knowledge of Irish GAAP, Companies Act requirements, and Revenue regulations.Ambition: A clear desire to move beyond compliance and into a leadership/mentoring role.
