Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Software CAD Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and enabling the RTL to GDSII flows for advanced low power and high performance SOCs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop solutions for design automation and reference flows.
* Execute and deliver project goals in a timely manner.
* Resolve issues in all phases of development to assure smooth project execution.
* Collaborate with other members of the development team to ensure code quality.
* Identify and suggest improvements to existing working methodology, QA process, compilation environment, documentation.
* Provide tool support and issue debugging services to design teams.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
* OR Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
* OR PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Background in software engineering (background in EDA is a plus).
* Experience with Git SCM, strong Linux skills.
* Experience with Python.
* Excellent problem solving and debugging skills.
* Knowledge of TCL and C++ programming languages is a plus.
* Knowledge of RTL (Verilog, System Verilog) and design verification domain is a plus.
* Ability to work in a geographically distributed development environment.
* Good communication skills and personal skills in a multi-disciplinary, fast-paced engineering environment.
