Finishing Foreperson - Residential Projects

Our client is seeking a skilled Finishing Foreperson to join a dynamic and collaborative team delivering high-quality residential developments.
This role is key to ensuring that homes are not just completed but completed to an exceptional standard.
It combines technical expertise, attention to detail, team coordination, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
:
Health & Safety Leadership: Champion on-site health and safety, ensuring all activities comply with current regulations and best practices.
Programme Management: Monitor project timelines and RTS/RTO dates, report progress weekly, and proactively address any delays.
Subcontractor Coordination: Oversee subcontractors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of works, including testing and commissioning.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections, resolve issues promptly, and maintain high standards throughout the finishing stages.
Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all inductions, sign-off sheets, and compliance documents are accurately completed and logged on the digital management system.
Snagging & Handover: Lead snagging teams to deliver high-quality unit handovers.
Manage and close out snag lists in collaboration with subcontractors.
Labour & Material Tracking: Maintain daily allocation sheets to monitor labour and material usage.
Unit Management: Take full responsibility for units from plastering/skimming through to final handover.
Team Engagement: Actively participate in daily coordination meetings and contribute to team performance.
Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal teams including administration, completions, and sales to provide regular updates on unit status.
Customer Service: Interact with homeowners and prospective buyers, delivering a professional and positive experience.
Aftercare Support: Address post-handover issues efficiently and elevate recurring concerns to the Aftercare Team.
Brand Representation: Represent the client's values and standards through professionalism, workmanship, and customer care.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Trade background preferred
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and quality benchmarks
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Detail-oriented and methodical approach
Collaborative team player with leadership capabilities
Self-motivated and capable of working independently
Able to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously
Comfortable taking ownership of tasks and delivering results
