Your new role
As a Building Services Engineer, you'll play a key part in designing and delivering MEP solutions across diverse projects. Your responsibilities will include:
* Producing mechanical and electrical design layouts, calculations, and specifications
* Using AutoCAD and Revit to prepare detailed technical drawings
* Working closely with architects, contractors, and clients to achieve project objectives
* Ensuring designs meet building regulations, industry standards, and sustainability goals
* Supporting low-energy and low‑carbon design strategies
* Carrying out occasional site inspections and progress reviews
What you'll need to succeed
* A degree in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical, or similar engineering discipline
* Experience in MEP/Building Services design (2+ years desirable)
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit (training available if needed)
* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
* A genuine interest in sustainable, energy‑efficient design
* Flexibility to attend site visits when required
* A full UK driving licence
