Engineering Manager Job Description
Job Responsibilities
* Lead or support bespoke manufacturing equipment projects as required.
* Collaborate with the Operations Team and Global Engineering Project/Process team to drive innovation.
* Design, develop, and deliver high-speed automated equipment sets to meet business needs.
* Manage equipment design, order process optimization, final equipment validation through to process optimization.
* Plan and execute equipment validations to ensure seamless operations.
* Support execution of various engineering cost and process improvement projects.
* Execute/improve existing equipment projects to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical/Mfg. Engineering or related field.
* 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment, including development of automated production equipment.
* Process background desirable, especially in healthcare, chemical, or plastics industries; or alternatively, regulated industries like food or pharmaceuticals.
* Familiarity with Equipment Control systems, PLC's, FMEA/PFMEA, DOE, statistical analysis tools, and project engineering principles.
* Ability to travel up to 25% for workload and project stages.
