From our Head Office to the shop floor and everywhere in between our primary goal is to create and deliver a fantastic customer journey for everyone who shops at Lidl.
Customer obsessed, high energy and love learning every day? If that sounds like you, earn €450+ per week as a Customer Assistant on our standard 30 hour contract. You’ll work across different shift times, on varied tasks and with different colleagues.
Note: To work in our store, you must be 18 or over as you will be required to sell alcohol.
Shift patterns
* Morning shift: Starting at 5am or 6am with your team, you’ll be stocking our award-winning products on the shop floor and getting our bakery products ready for customers by opening time.
* Middle shift: Starting mid-morning or early afternoon, you’ll keep the store clean, well presented and products fresh, help customers with queries on the shop floor, and work on tills to minimise queues.
* Late shift: Starting in the afternoon, you’ll focus on delivering a top-class customer experience on tills, restocking, and preparing the store for the next day.
What You’ll Do
* Interacting with customers in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner
* Ensuring stock loss controls are followed in all areas of the store
* Maintaining store and external cleanliness and hygiene standards
* Following freshness and rotation principles
* Ensuring all waste is managed correctly
* Assisting in the stock count process
What You’ll Need

* Preferably prior customer-facing experience, but not essential if you have the right attitude

* €15.10 rising to €17.40 per hour after 3 years (supplementary pay outlined below)

* Year 1: Basic €15.10; Unsocial €18.88; Overtime €22.65; Bank Holiday €30.20
* Year 2: Basic €15.70; Unsocial €19.63; Overtime €23.55; Bank Holiday €31.40
* Year 3: Basic €16.40; Unsocial €20.50; Overtime €24.60; Bank Holiday €32.80
* Year 4: Basic €17.40; Unsocial €21.75; Overtime €26.10; Bank Holiday €34.80
