Role Description
This is a full‑time Quantity Surveyor role based on civil engineering and infrastructure projects in North Dublin, Meath and Louth.
Skills & Qualifications
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
Minimum 5 years’ experience within the construction industry
Proven experience working with a main contractor in a Quantity Surveying role
Strong knowledge of contract administration and cost control
Experience working on civil engineering infrastructure projects
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
Strong IT skills including Excel, Word, Cubit Estimating and Asta Powerproject.
Full driving licence required.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
Quantity take-offs and cost planning
Management of subcontractor and supplier procurement
Contract administration, variations, and claims management
Monitoring project expenditure and implementing cost control measuresIdentifying value engineering opportunities
Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and project teams
Ensuring projects are delivered within agreed commercial targets
Identify commercial risks and provide early warnings where necessary.
Ensure compliance with contract conditions on PWC forms of contract.
