Senior Facilities Leader
We are seeking a senior facilities leader to drive the development and execution of our facilities strategy.
* Job Description:
* Create and implement workplace health and safety policies in line with current legislation and industry standards.
* Develop plans and roadmaps to bring these strategies to life, ensuring alignment with business needs while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
* Oversee risk management frameworks by conducting assessments to identify potential dangers and implementing preventive measures to reduce incidents.
* Lead the design and rollout of health and safety training initiatives for all employees and third-party contractors.
* Collaborate with the Chief People Officer on investigations into health and safety incidents, driving root cause analysis, corrective actions, and risk mitigation.
* Maintain accurate records of health and safety activity and prepare reports for stakeholders.
* Ensure regulatory compliance by staying up-to-date with changes in health and safety legislation and understanding their impact.
* Work closely with management and employees to reinforce a safety-first mindset and uphold required accreditations.
* Oversee external service partnerships in facilities management, security, and catering, ensuring service excellence and cost efficiency.
* Direct the execution of facilities-related projects from planning through to delivery.
* Define and monitor performance standards through clear Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure optimal service performance.
* Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum of eight years' experience in managing health & safety functions.
* Solid knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and legal requirements.
* Proven background in managing workplace facilities and overseeing third-party service providers.
* Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams through periods of change and transition.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Well-developed operational and process management capabilities, with experience in service-oriented or operations-driven settings.
