HSEQ Officer Role
Vickerstock is partnering with a leading manufacturing firm to appoint an HSEQ Officer.
This key position requires a proactive and results-driven individual who can provide Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality support to operations. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to relevant certifiable standards, policies, procedures, and customer requirements in compliance with legal and safety legislation.
1. Develop and implement best working practices and strategies to drive site performance.
2. Ensure manufactured products meet brand and customer specifications and Health and Safety requirements.
3. Lead, manage, coach, and develop individuals to maintain all site accreditations and certifications.
4. Foster a culture of continuous improvement regarding Health and Safety and Environmental principles.
5. Assist with regular team meetings to discuss quality and HSEQ aspects.
6. Collaborate with Production and Development teams to maintain quality and HSEQ standards.
7. Liaise with technical staff to compile customer reports.
8. Consider the application of Environmental and Health and Safety standards.
9. Define quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff.
10. Monitor performance by gathering data and producing statistical reports.
11. Maintain the quality assurance function in close co-operation with customers and the management team.
12. Identify relevant quality-related training needs and deliver training.
