Post Summary Trinity College Dublin uses the main social media platforms to communicate daily with a range of stakeholders including students, staff, potential students, researchers, parents, teachers, alumni, political leaders, donors, funding agencies and employers here in Ireland and overseas.
You will be joining a growing and results-focused Trinity communications team which speaks to all these stakeholders.
You will be someone who can hit the ground running and who is keen to share their knowledge and learnings with the wider team and the university as a whole.
Post status: Specific Purpose Contract The specific purpose of this employment is to fill a 'Social Media Executive Officer' vacancy on a temporary basis pending the return of the postholder from maternity leave.
Employment is not offered on an indefinite duration basis as the original postholder is expected to return.
If the postholder does not return to work the post will be filled through open competition.
Hours of Post: 35 hours per week Salary: This appointment will be made on the Executive Officer Merged Salary Scale (€33,523 - €51,715 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
