Job Purpose:We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Experienced Bookkeeper to join our office. You'll manage the bookkeeping needs of a wide range of clients across multiple industries. This role is key in delivering accurate financial records, managing deadlines, and supporting both client and internal team requirements.Key Responsibilities:Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for a portfolio of clientsProcess and reconcile bank, credit card, and petty cash transactionsPrepare for monthly and quarterly management accountsSubmit VAT returns and other tax filingsMaintain accurate client records in various accounting systemsCommunicate directly with clients to collect information, clarify queries, and deliver reportsEnsure all work meets internal quality standards and regulatory requirementsMonitor deadlines and proactively manage workload priorities across multiple clientsQualifications & Experience:Minimum 5 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience, ideally in a client-facing roleAAT Level 3/4 qualified or equivalentStrong working knowledge of cloud accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, )Familiarity with payroll platforms (e.g., Payday)Experience across a variety of industries and business sizesExcellent understanding of VAT, RCT's), and payroll complianceProven ability to handle multiple client deadlines in a busy environmentKey Skills & Attributes:Strong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and client service skillsHighly organized with the ability to manage competing prioritiesProactive and solution-focused mindsetTrustworthy, discreet, and comfortable working with sensitive informationAdaptable to different clients' needs, sectors, and systemsJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €32,000.00-€35,000.00 per yearEducation:Advanced/Higher Certificate (required)Experience:Sage 50 Accounting: 5 years (required)Language:English (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (preferred)Work Location: In person
