Job Description
As a technical sales specialist, you will be the face of our expertise, conducting compelling product demonstrations and presentations. You will effectively communicate the value of our services to prospective customers, helping them understand how our solutions can solve their challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting product demonstrations and technical presentations for prospective customers
* Providing expert product knowledge and technical consultation to potential clients
* Identifying up-selling and cross-selling opportunities within existing client accounts based on their technical needs and future growth plans
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients as a trusted advisor
* Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies for new business acquisition
* Assisting in creating proposals and technical documentation for client solutions
* Providing post-sales technical support to ensure customer satisfaction and successful implementation of services
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
* Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Data Center Technician, Field Engineer, or similar role
* Proven experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably within the technology industry
* Experience with hardware from major vendors
* Strong knowledge of data center best practices, including cabling standards, racking, and power distribution
* Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting server hardware, networking equipment, and related components
* Relevant certifications are highly desirable
