Our client is a leading, progressive law firm looking to welcome a Professional Support Lawyer (Knowledge) to their multi-disciplinary Projects, Infrastructure & Energy group.

The Role Overview
As a critical support hub for a busy and growing practice, you will provide technical know-how, training, and support across a broad spectrum of areas, including:
Public procurement
Housing & ESG (including occasional support for the New Homes/Residential Development team)

Key Responsibilities
Knowledge Management: Develop, curate, and continuously improve the group's knowledge systems, document banks, precedents, and template advice across all core practice areas.
Legal Analysis: Monitor and analyze Irish and EU legislative, regulatory, and case-law developments, translating them into practical guidance for fee earners.
Training & Professional Support: Design and deliver internal training and CPD briefings for legal staff at all levels, while mentoring junior fee earners.
Fee-Earning Work: Maintain a defined, manageable caseload of live matters alongside the wider team, billing in line with a reduced fee target that respects your dual responsibilities.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Act as the first point of contact for technical queries, and collaborate with knowledge colleagues across the firm to share resources and best practices.
Business Development: Contribute to client-facing articles, briefings, seminars, and thought‑leadership materials to help elevate the group's profile.
Person Specification
Qualified Solicitor (Republic of Ireland) with relevant post‑qualification experience in one or more of the group's practice areas.
Strong technical research and analytical skills, with the ability to distil complex legal material into practical advice.
Exceptional drafting skills and an uncompromising eye for detail.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to deliver training.
Highly organized, self‑directed, and collaborative.
Previous experience in a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) or Knowledge role.
Familiarity with standard‑form construction contracts, public procurement procedures, or residential development.
Experience designing and delivering training or CPD programs.
Comfort utilizing legal technology, knowledge systems, and document automation tools.
