Job Description
Job Title: CNCOperator
Employer: Architectural Doorsets Limited
Location: Ida IndustrialEstate; Harry Reynolds Road; Stephenstown Industrial Estate; Balbriggan; Co.Dublin; K32 WN82
Working Hours: 39hours per week
Responsibilities
Set up CNCmachines (milling, drilling, and turning) for production runs, including toolselection,
fixturealignment, and machine calibration
Input andadjust machining parameters (feeds, speeds, offsets) based on material type and
engineeringrequirements
Preparemachines for new jobs by interpreting technical drawings and CAD/CAMspecifications
OperateCNC machinery to manufacture metal components within specified tolerances
Monitormachining processes and make real-time adjustments to maintain dimensionalaccuracy
Ensurerepeatability and consistency across production batches
Read andinterpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Useprecision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, verniers, gauges) to verifycomponent accuracy
Conductin-process and final inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards
Identifyand resolve machining issues, including tool wear, misalignment, and processdeviations
Optimisemachining processes to improve efficiency, cycle times, and output quality
Performroutine maintenance and ensure machines are operating within optimal parameters
Coordinateworkflow with fabrication and finishing teams to ensure efficient productionsequencing
Preparemachined components for downstream processes, including surface treatment whererequired
Requirements
Strongunderstanding of metal machining principles and tooling
Ability tointerpret technical drawings and tolerances. Demonstrated ability to work withprecision and follow technical specifications
Mechanicaltroubleshooting and process optimization
Attentionto detail and quality control
Ability towork independently within a production environment
