Head of Operations and SAP Training Services

Novitas Change Assurance Training Services provides flexible, tailored, and cost-effective training solutions for change projects and digital transformations. Job Summary:

* This is a dual-role leadership position responsible for managing the day-to-day business operations of the company while also project managing the delivery of high-quality SAP training design, development, and delivery.
* The role blends strategic operational management with delivery, ensuring that both internal processes and client engagements run smoothly.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Leadership:
o Develop, implement, and monitor operational strategies to ensure the company's growth, efficiency, and profitability.
o Manage contracts and relations with vendors and partners.
o Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the company's growth.
o Oversee and refine internal processes, workflows, and systems to maximise productivity and quality.
o Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across various functions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
o Manage resource allocation and capacity planning for all projects.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring service excellence and exploring opportunities for expanding our service offerings.
o Serve as a point of escalation for client issues and ensure high-quality service delivery.
2. Compliance & Risk Management:
o Ensure company operations adhere to regulatory requirements and best practices, mitigating potential risks.
3. SAP Training Services:
o Design, review, and enhance SAP training programs to meet the evolving needs of our clients.
o Oversee the end-to-end delivery of SAP projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
4. Quality Assurance:
o Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics, implementing improvements as needed.
o Oversee the scheduling and allocation of instructional designers, developers, and trainers, ensuring that the team has the necessary support and resources.
5. Market Engagement:
o Stay abreast of industry trends and updates in SAP technology to ensure training strategy remains relevant and cutting-edge.
6. People Management & Client Engagement:
o Conduct performance reviews, identify professional development needs, and support team members' career progression.
o Act as a key point of contact for high-value clients, providing expert advice and tailored training solutions.
o Maintain transparent and effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals.


Job Requirements:

* A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
* 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in consultancy & project management within an SAP or training environment.
* Proven track record in SAP projects related delivery.
* Experience in a dual role or managing multi-functional responsibilities is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of SAP training and/or consultancy services and/or SAP systems.
* Familiarity with the EMEA and UK business landscape and regulatory environment is beneficial.
