This is a key leadership role with full responsibility for daily operations, financial performance, customer engagement, compliance, and people management across our Air & Sea product. You will drive operational excellence, support growth ambitions, and ensure the branch consistently delivers best-in-class service to our customers and partners.What will you be doing?Hold full accountability for branch P&L, cost control, and revenue growth.Oversee all Air & Sea operational activities, ensuring service excellence and compliance with global product standards.Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, co-loaders, service providers, and internal product teams.Lead the achievement of departmental KPIs: On-Time Performance, File Quality, Gross Profit, Job Closure Discipline, and Days to Invoice.Develop and execute operational strategies to support short-, mid-, and long-term growth.Manage financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting.Conduct performance reviews, develop team capabilities, and ensure effective workforce planning.Support commercial activities including RFQ input, pricing, and operational insights for Sales and Key Account Management.Collaborate with Global Air & Sea Product teams to enhance service offerings and customer satisfaction.Liaise with Compliance, QSHE, Quality, and H&S teams to maintain all regulatory, audit, and security standards.Ensure readiness and compliance for ISO, AEO, GDP, DG, security, and customs audits.Act as escalation point for key accounts, ensuring timely resolution of service issues.Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.Engage with strategic customers to strengthen partnerships and identify future needs.About YouSignificant leadership experience in Air and/or Sea Freight operations.Strong understanding of global supply chain processes, from booking to final delivery.In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, procurement, freight rate structures, and trade compliance.Proven experience managing P&L, financial KPIs, and operational budgets.Excellent leadership and people-management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.Strong relationship-building skills with customers, carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.Highly organised, analytical, and commercially aware.Strong understanding of GDP, DG, and Air Cargo Security requirements.Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and drive accountability.What can we offer you?Competitive Salary Package and an opportunity to be a part of and grow within a driven and successful company, with a team of 160,000, operating in over 90 countries.
