The role involves working closely with brand teams, understanding various data sources, building data ingestion pipelines, and designing future-proof data models for visualization and insights.About The RoleAs a Marketing Cloud Architect, you will:Help internal customers identify key metrics supporting business goals and data collection.Architect and design Salesforce solutions using Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama), ensuring scalability and efficiency.Conduct feasibility studies, define new data streams, and manage data refresh cycles.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop reporting capabilities and optimize reports.Train business users and support developers in building data pipelines, models, and visualizations.Explain tool capabilities, functions, and interoperability across systems.Provide visualization requirements to data analysts for report and dashboard creation.Develop best practices for metrics, data management, and visualization, staying updated on Salesforce releases.Manage direct and indirect reports in a matrixed global organization.Essential Requirements7-10 years of experience in analytics, consulting, or enterprise software, with stakeholder management skills.5+ years in Salesforce, with a focus on solution architecture.Proficiency in Datorama, Salesforce configurations, and Marketing Cloud.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.Knowledge of Data Engineering & Business Intelligence ecosystems.Salesforce MCI certification; familiarity with SF platforms like PD1, PD2.Knowledge of AppExchange deployment, Flow, Aura, and Lightning Web Components is a plus.Work Distribution25%: Interacting with internal customers, gathering requirements, and delivering solutions.25%: Developing MCI, identifying data streams, and architecture design.25%: Reporting and insights projects using Salesforce tools and data platforms.15%: Providing thought leadership on reporting best practices.10%: Identifying growth opportunities for personal and professional development.Why NovartisHelping people with disease requires a community of passionate individuals.
