We’re reinventing payments. In less than four years, Dojo disrupted the market to become the largest and most loved acquirer in the UK. Our payments infrastructure, purpose‑built for in‑person commerce, is game‑changing.
Now, over 150,000 customers across four countries transact billions with us every year. We’re just getting started.
The Role
Dojo is expanding rapidly. We’ve built a leading presence in the UK, and we are now focused on bringing our experience to the rest of Europe. We are looking for a strategic partner for our UK parent company — someone to provide the financial foundation for our Irish entity as we scale into Spain, Italy, and France.
Reporting directly to our Head of Finance (PCF 11), you will be responsible for our regulatory integrity. You will ensure we meet our obligations to the Central Bank of Ireland with precision and transparency, providing the stable financial governance needed to support our international growth. This role is ideal for someone who values technical excellence in safeguarding.
Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and submission of financial and statistical regulatory returns to the CBI, ensuring our reporting is consistently accurate and timely.
Manage the daily safeguarding reconciliation process, maintaining full compliance with CBI Safeguarding Guidance.
Take responsibility for the Safeguarding Framework, ensuring our policies and procedures are robust and ready to support a multi‑region business.
Monitor the firm’s regulatory capital and liquidity positions to ensure we are always operating safely within E‑Money Regulations.
As we launch & scale across Europe, provide the technical accounting and regulatory insights required to support our entry into those territories.
Drive the monthly financial close and audit processes while partnering with the UK Group Treasury and Finance teams on initiatives.
Qualifications
ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA qualified.
Proven industry experience, ideally within a FinTech, Payments, or regulated financial services environment.
Strong working knowledge of CBI reporting and Safeguarding requirements.
A data‑driven approach to problem‑solving and a natural curiosity for how systems and flows work.
Ability to translate complex regulatory data into clear, actionable insights for the PCF 11 and other senior stakeholders.
Curiosity about how systems work and a drive to continuously improve processes.
Work Environment
We believe our best work happens when we collaborate in‑person. These “together days” foster communication, drive innovation and spark our brightest ideas. That’s why we have an office‑first culture. You’ll work from the office 4+ days per week. With offices across Europe, you can choose quiet zones for deep focus or collaboration spaces for big ideas. Our social hubs make it easy to connect.
Values
You’re curious. You have a real desire to learn and create.
You’re relentless. You keep going even when it’s easier not to.
You’re customer‑obsessed. You understand how important customers are to what you do.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
We aim to build teams that reflect the diversity of the businesses we serve. We’re committed to improving diversity, equity and inclusion to help employees thrive and innovate for better customer experiences.
We are an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin or disability status.
