Enhanced Nurse Early Intervention (Childrens Disability Network Team 5) About Us Stewarts Care is a long-established voluntary organisation, funded by the HSE under Section 38. We support people with intellectual disabilities through residential care, day services, independent living, job advocacy, and vocational training. Purpose of the Post Reporting to Childrens Disability Network Managerthe Enhanced Nurse will on a Part Time, Permanentcontract to provide a specialist nursing and early intervention service to children (06 years) with complex disabilities and their families within the CDNT. The role combines enhanced nursing practice with early intervention and targeted key working, with a particular focus on: Supporting children with complex health and developmental needs Delivering family centered practice and routines-based interventions Enhancing care coordination and integration across the interdisciplinary team The post holder will act as a key link between health, developmental and community services, ensuring safe, effective and outcome focused care Experience and Qualifications Be a registered Intellectual Disability Nurse (RNID) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland Have reached minimum point 4 on the staff nurse salary scale Have experience working with children with: Intellectual Disability, Autism, Physical and/or complex needs. Experience in family centered practice and early intervention Evidence of competency in assessment, care planning and evaluation.
