About the Role
We are seeking an experienced procurement specialist to join our team in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic sourcing and indirect category management, with a proven track record of driving value and innovation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies across a range of indirect services, including workplace services, marketing, professional and outsourcing services, HR, and IT.
This is a unique opportunity to work with a fast-paced multinational company, leading procurement efforts across diverse categories and driving supplier performance through structured scorecards and quarterly business reviews.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute category strategies across a broad range of indirect services.
2. Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives, including supplier analysis, RFPs, contract negotiations, and recommendations.
3. Act as a strategic advisor to internal stakeholders on market trends, risk, supplier selection, and commercial terms.
4. Create and manage outsourcing and commercial models with measurable deliverables and governance frameworks.
5. Drive supplier performance through structured scorecards and quarterly business reviews.
6. Maintain a strong external focus to identify opportunities and benchmark best practices.
7. Propose and lead cost-saving or value-creation initiatives based on spend analysis and category insight.
8. Influence internal decision-making by clearly communicating sourcing insights and business impacts.
9. Draft and negotiate commercial terms in supplier agreements, ensuring alignment with legal and operational standards.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing with expertise managing multiple indirect categories.
2. Proven track record working with categories such as Financial, Consulting, Legal, and IT Services.
3. Experience developing and executing outsourcing and commercial models.
4. Ability to work collaboratively across global teams and time zones.
5. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving change.
Contract Details
This is an 11-month contract position based in Dublin 2, with a hybrid schedule requiring 2-3 days of in-office work per week.
