Job Title: Bakery Manager
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive sales through key performance indicators, financial reports and brand initiatives.
* Enhance product knowledge by researching a range of sources and sharing ideas with employees and management.
* Merchandise and present the department to the highest standard at all times.
* Ensure all staff reporting to you are competent in any duties required and receive adequate training.
Essential Skills:
* Leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Basic maths skills for inventory management.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 2 years' experience in a Supervisor/Manager role is desirable.
* Previous food preparation and production experience is highly beneficial.
* Qualified baker or baking qualifications are advantageous.
