We are seeking to hire two Clerical Officers to support administrative operations in Galway City.
Positions available: Grade III and Grade IV.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and document management.
2. Handle incoming queries via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring professional customer service.
3. Maintain and update records, databases, and reports accurately.
4. Support senior staff with scheduling, correspondence, and office coordination.
5. Assist in the preparation of reports, meeting minutes, and other office documentation.
6. Ensure compliance with internal policies and data protection regulations.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role (public or private sector).
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
* Previous experience in a public sector or healthcare setting.
