This program will simplify the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from seven to one, standardizing processes to have a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharmaceutical business with agility. Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.Roles and LocationsRemember, this role is available across multiple countries and may be posted under different requisition numbers to comply with local requirements. This hybrid position will be located in Titusville, New Jersey (USA). Alternate hybrid locations may be considered at other IM Transcend hubs such as Beerse, Cork, Cologno Monzese, Issy-les-Moulineaux, Madrid, Porto Salvo, Neuss, Leiden, and Zug or Schaffhausen.
Key Responsibilities
Own and govern a global, risk-based cutover and hypercare methodology, ensuring consistency and repeatability across IM Transcend releases
Develop and maintain standardized cutover runbooks, tooling, templates, governance practices, and documentation requirements
Lead integrated cutover planning, including readiness tasks, dependencies, resource assignments, success metrics, and rollback procedures
Direct mock cutovers, rehearsals, environmental readiness checks, and data migration validation to ensure predictable execution
Orchestrate production cutovers across applications, data, infrastructure, and business processes to minimize downtime and operational disruption
Lead and develop a global network of Business Cutover Leads and cross-functional deployment teams; manage capacity and readiness
Define and operate the hypercare stabilization model, including incident management workflows, escalation channels, rosters, SLAs, and stabilization checkpoints
Coordinate vendor and third-party responsibilities across cutover and hypercare, ensuring clarity and alignment on SLAs and deliverables
Implement and monitor metrics measuring readiness, execution quality, downtime, defects, and value realization; drive continuous improvement
Provide transparent status, risk, and mitigation reporting to senior leadership and program governance bodies
Champion automation, orchestration tools, and generative-AI-enabled enhancements to increase speed, predictability, and standardization
Integrate cutover and hypercare deliverables into program stage-gate governance and readiness assessments
Capture lessons learned across releases and translate them into actionable improvements for future deployments
QualificationsEducationMinimum of a Bachelor’s / University or equivalent degree required; Advanced degree (Master’s or MBA) and/or a focused degree in Supply Chain, Business, Business Management, Engineering, IT, Technical/Scientific, or a related field preferredCertifications preferred: PMP/FPX, APICS, ISTQB, Lean/Six Sigma, or equivalentExperience and SkillsMinimum 10 years of relevant work experienceProven success leading global cutover or deployment teams supporting large-scale business transformation programsDemonstrated program and project management skills, including orchestration, planning, and readiness executionDeep expertise in ERP cutover planning and execution, including ramp-down/up coordination, mock cutovers, data migration readiness, environmental validation, and contingency planningExtensive experience leading hypercare stabilization, incident triage, issue resolution, and transition into steady-state operationsStrong understanding of complex system landscapes, integrations, Data migration dependencies, and infrastructure transitionsExperience operating within regulated (e.g., SOX, GxP, CSV, SDLC) environments with strong process and documentation disciplineProficiency with SAP S/4HANA, including architecture, integration points, and supporting tools; familiarity with Fiori modules is a plusStrong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder-engagement skills across business, IT, system integrators, validation partners, and global/regional teamsPeople-management experience (coaching, mentoring, developing teams)PreferredIndustry experience in Pharmaceuticals or Life SciencesOtherRequires proficiency in English (written and verbal) to communicate effectively and professionallyRequires up to 25% domestic and international travel, depending on work location and business needsRequires the ability, through our flexible work policy, to work on-site a minimum of three days per week, with the option for two remote workdays
