With a strong pipeline of work and a focus on long-term development, this is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation that values leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement.About Your New JobAs Contracts Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing multiple projects to ensure delivery in line with programme, budget, and quality expectations — including full or phased handovers as required.Key responsibilities include:Managing projects to meet agreed construction programmes and budgets.Taking overall responsibility for safety on sites under your control, working closely with the Safety Manager and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety Regulations and company EHS systems.Preparing, issuing, and monitoring construction programmes, while liaising with the Design Team and Project Manager to communicate schedule changes and variations.Representing the company at site meetings and producing professional Contractor Reports, Progress Reports, and Information Required Schedules.Monitoring quality standards and ensuring full compliance with drawings, specifications, building regulations, and best practice.Liaising with the Contracts Director to appropriately resource projects.Ensuring all site records (diaries, allocation sheets, advice forms) are maintained accurately and in full.Reporting regularly to the Contracts Director and Managing Director, including submission of weekly site/project reports.Coordinating with the Contracts Director, Purchasing Manager, Quantity Surveyors, and Head Office to ensure timely delivery of reports, records, and essential project information.What You Will NeedA Degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline.10+ years’ experience in senior construction management roles.A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Contracts Manager within a main contractor environment.Proven leadership ability with strong negotiation, communication, and team management skills.Strong technical expertise with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and work requirements.What You Will Get BackThe opportunity to work on a broad and diverse range of construction projects.A collaborative team environment with driven, like-minded professionals.The chance to contribute meaningfully while further developing your leadership and technical skills.Ongoing opportunities for professional development and learning.Market-competitive remuneration and benefits package.
