Care for the Elderly with Intellectual Disabilities
This role involves working with older individuals who have intellectual disabilities, providing high-quality care and support to meet their unique needs.
* Be a Registered Nurse Intellectual Disability (RNID) on the live Register of Nurses kept by An Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland)
* A minimum of 5 years post-registration experience in caring for older adults with intellectual disabilities is required.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and patience when interacting with patients. A strong understanding of gerontology principles is also essential for this position.
