What You'll Be Doing
As a key member of the transport team, you will:
* Drive Safely and Professionally: Operate artic trucks with a valid CE category license, adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.
* Timely Deliveries: Ensure secure and prompt delivery of goods across various routes within Ireland.
* Vehicle Inspections: Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness.
* Efficient Communication: Collaborate with the dispatch team and provide excellent customer service to maintain smooth operations.
* Accurate Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed logs of delivery schedules, hours worked, and vehicle inspections.
* Handle Goods Responsibly: Safely load, transport, and unload goods to maintain their integrity and quality.
What Were Looking For
To excel in this role, you'll need:
Qualifications and Certifications:
* A valid CE category license.
* A current CPC Card and Tachograph card.
Experience and Skills:
* A minimum of 3 years of driving experience in Ireland or the UK.
* Strong driving skills with a proven safety record.
* Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and organizational skills.
* Effective communication skills for smooth interaction with the dispatch team and customers.
