Junior Site Engineer role with well known Ireland based contractor

This client is a large, Irish-owned contractor who are searching for a Junior Site Engineer to work on a well known infrastructure project based in Cork.
Your new role
* Assist senior engineers in the planning and execution of construction projects.
* Support the management of day-to-day site operations and activities.
* Conduct site inspections and monitor work progress to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving.
* Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including reports, schedules, and project records.
* Participate in site meetings and contribute to discussions regarding project progress and challenges.
* Demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality on site, promoting best practices among team members.
What you'll need to succeed
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
* Basic knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment (internships or academic projects will be considered an asset).
