Job Title: National Account Controller
Location: Dublin: Hybrid working: approx. 2-3 days per week in our Dublin office
Salary from €95k - €105k depending on experience + car allowance + bonus + generous pension scheme + 12 flexible days on top of 25 day holiday entitlement + 2 paid volunteering days + other fantastic benefits!

Position Summary
Join our Nestlé Sales team in Ireland in this newly created position as a National Account Controller and play a key part in our exciting sales digital transformation journey!

We are delighted to be recruiting for this newly created National Account Controller position to join our Nestlé Ireland team based at our head office in Dublin, Ireland as we expand our sales team to deliver Sales Digital Transformation in our market.

In this exciting and high profile role, you’ll play a key role within the Nestlé Ireland Sales Team with responsibility across 6 Nestlé categories (Confectionery, Coffee, Purina, Nutrition, Dairy, Food) for the leadership and delivery of a profitable market share winning plan driven by the development and negotiation of Joint Business Plans with Grocery Multiple Customers.

As National Account Controller, you will lead and develop a National Accounts team of 8 direct reports, and have responsibility for the full management and accountability of the customer/category/format P&L, including Sales Revenue, Trade Spend, Promotional ROI, Market Share and Profit targets.

A day in the life of a National Account Controller ….
In this fast paced and challenging role that offers visible leadership and ownership of our commercial relationship with grocery customers in Ireland, your key responsibilities will include:

* Develop, lead and execute customer business plans with the Senior National Account Managers, National Account Managers, CDT team and Activation Manager, ensuring that brand and customer NPS, NNS, Profit, Share and TA targets are achieved
* Support the SNAM's & NAM’s in developing relationships and networks across the customer base to support the delivery of the business plan
* Internal communication of customer strategies and insights against our category strategy, creating platforms for future growth
* Ensure resources are prioritised and focused on Must Win Battle Brands and Customers
* Understand the insight dynamics of the customer, develop the customer strategy through a clear business planning process, creating customer specific solutions
* Develop and improve current processes and ways of working across the business, encouraging the sharing and implementation of best practice
* Lead the delivery of our customer, brand and market share aspirations through clear alignment process with Marketing, CDT and Supply
* Coach and drive the performance and long-term development of our national account management team, through full training and succession planning


What will make you successful
To be successful, you’ll already have a fantastic breadth of sales or commercial experience under your belt with previous experience within FMCG categories.


A strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness and excellent numeracy skills, you’ll be able to communicate persuasively and credibly to multiple stakeholders internally as well to customers externally. You will need to demonstrate a proactive, entrepreneurial and innovative mind-set. We’re looking for an experienced Sales leader with the following skills and experience:

* Customer leadership/P&L experience (with grocery mults)
* Excellent coaching skills to develop your direct team and the wider organisation
* Strong influencing skills and a high degree of adaptability is required
* Demonstrate agile thinking and inspirational leadership as we shape our plans to win in this dynamic marketplace
* Category management experience
* SRM leadership/project work
* Negotiating skills and experience managing complexity and ambiguity
* A passion and hunger for excellence in all you lead and execute with your team in the market
