Job Title: Quality Control Specialist

This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of samples within our facilities. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will handle the movement and storage of samples, maintaining the chain of custody and ensuring adherence to effective procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

* Gathering data and documents test results;
">
* Reviewing test results to ensure compliance with standards;
">
* Reporting any quality anomalies;
">
* Complying with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements;
">
* Participating in required training activities;
">
* Maintaining laboratory supplies;
">
* Verifying sample submissions to Quality Control;
">
* Preparing samples for shipment;
">
* Submitting receipt of samples and documentation of transactions in Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS);
">
* Running the sample inventory for QC testing and disposal;
">
* Verifying instrument/device calibration prior to use;
">
* Writing and revising work instructions and SOPs;
">
* Completing test records and reviews data;
">
* Interacting with outside customers or functional peer groups;
">
* Devising or developing new analytical methods and techniques; and
">
* Assisting in validation of methods.

Requirements:
">
To be considered for this opportunity, you should have a BS/BA in Life Sciences or related field and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. You should also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
