Requirements for New Apprentices:
* Minimum of 5 passes in Ordinary level subjects in the Leaving certificate (must include Mathematics)
* Successfully pass the Ishihara Colour Vision Test
* Valid Safe Pass & Manual Handling certificates

Jones Engineering are the largest trainer of construction apprentices in Ireland with 300+ apprentices in our employment annually. To complement the SOLAS Standards Based Apprenticeship Scheme we offer our apprentices supplementary training over the course of four years. We also encourage our apprentices to enter competitions such as World Skills Ireland. We are proud to say we have had two gold medal winners in the World Skills competition and one bronze medal winner in the World Skills Ireland competition. Such competitions require skill and determination, and we encourage and mentor our apprentices to become the best in their field.
