Salary:€45,000-€48,000 About the Role We are looking for an experienced and organised Transport Planner to join our team in Ballycoolin. This is a key role responsible for planning daily HGV routes, allocating drivers, and ensuring smooth day-to-day transport operations. You will be the central point of contact for drivers, helping to resolve issues in real time and ensuring deliveries and collections run efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities Plan and schedule daily routes for HGV drivers to maximise efficiency Allocate drivers to jobs based on availability, location, and compliance requirements Monitor drivers throughout the day, ensuring smooth operations and resolving any issues Liaise with drivers to ensure they can access and exit customer sites without delays Communicate with customers and internal teams to maintain high service standards Coordinate with site operatives to ensure tanks and equipment are prepared and ready for dispatch Ensure compliance with driver hours, tachograph regulations, and health & safety standards Maintain accurate records of schedules and transport activities What We're Looking For Previous experience in transport planning, logistics, or fleet coordination Strong understanding of HGV operations and driver regulations Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with drivers and customers Good IT skills (transport planning systems, spreadsheets, etc.) What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Supportive team environment Opportunity to develop within a growing business Stable, full-time position
