This role combines office-based account management with client visits across Ireland, focusing on building strong customer and supplier relationships, driving sales, and providing hands-on technical support.Location: Ireland (Flexible, including Northern Ireland) | Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days field-basedKey ResponsibilitiesSales & Client EngagementConduct field visits (2 days per week) to maintain and expand client partnerships across IrelandHandle sales calls, quotations, and follow-ups to achieve revenue and margin targetsIdentify new business opportunities and lead technical sales discussions with customersSupport trials, demonstrations, and product testing to ensure successful implementationDeliver outstanding customer service, managing complaints and aftersales follow-up professionallyTechnical & Product SupportProvide technical assistance and respond to technical queries from customers and partnersCollaborate with internal engineers and suppliers on machine design and quotationsCoordinate small machine services and ensure efficient aftersales serviceParticipate in quality reviews and feedback loops for continuous improvementSupplier & Market DevelopmentNegotiate and confirm pricing and gross margin (GM) structures with managementStay informed on packaging industry trends, technologies, and competitor developmentsReporting & CoordinationPrepare and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and updates on key KPIsLiaise with the internal office and logistics team to ensure smooth order fulfilmentSupport general account management, CRM updates, and pipeline trackingRequirementsProven experience in sales or technical sales, ideally within the packaging, machinery, or manufacturing industryStrong understanding of sales processes, client engagement, and solution-based sellingExcellent communication and relationship management skillsTechnically inclined with the ability to explain product features and service solutionsSelf-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable managing your own scheduleWillingness to travel across Ireland (including Northern Ireland)Full driving licence requiredCompensation & BenefitsBase salary + performance-related bonusCommission based on gross marginCar allowance providedIf you're passionate about combining sales with technical expertise and want to be part of a dynamic, supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.
