Job Title: Electrical Supervisor
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our Life Science Team in Tralee. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations, maintenance, and repair work in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Demonstrate a strong knowledge of HSE practices and promote a positive safety culture by leading by example.
* Proficient in Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and LOTO procedures.
* Assist in the preparation, review and approval of method statements and permits for Electrical and other relevant contractors.
* Regular site inspections to monitor the progress of Electrical and MEP works, ensuring adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
* Track and document the progress of on-site activities, identifying any deviations from the plan and implementing corrective actions to keep the project on track.
* Review and Approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITP's) and Inspection Test Records (ITR's).
* Attend / Lead system walkdowns to verify installations meet project specifications and standards.
* Manage the closeout of relevant punch list items to ensure project/system completion.
* Review and approval of turnover documentation ensuring documentation meets project and client requirements.
* Coordination and witnessing of commissioning activities.
* Attend meetings with relevant disciplines and contractors.
* Provide updates, address concerns, and collaborate with project team and stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical supervision.
* Pharmaceutical experience or clean room experience required.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
