About the Role
As a bilingual Sales Engineer you will support the pre‑sales and post‑sales cycle from a technical perspective. You will identify technical requirements in opportunities, match them to Keeper solutions, and support the sale by positioning and demonstrating differences. You will provide product trials, assist with implementation and integration, and offer level‑2 technical assistance to existing customers.
Responsibilities
Provide and manage pre‑sales technical support for the Keeper product sales process.
Work closely with the sales team to identify customer opportunities and understand their business needs.
Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations remotely or on‑site.
Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to stay updated on features and enhancements.
Address technical questions and objections during the sales process.
Act as a technical advisor to customers, helping them understand how our solutions meet their business objectives.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
Analyse complex problems and use a systematic approach for quick resolution.
Identify opportunities and sell Keeper products and services to technical personnel.
Maintain accurate activity and reports in Salesforce.
Create and deliver technical product presentations and/or training sessions to channel partners and customers.
Participate as part of a sales team to achieve revenue targets and company objectives.
Travel locally and nationally, and operate a vehicle on behalf of the company if required.
Communicate with German and English speaking partners, both verbally and in writing.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in a pre‑sales technical role (Sales Engineer, Systems Engineer, Solutions Engineer, etc.).
Native German with English fluency (verbal and written).
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and strong entrepreneurial drive.
Strong experience with Windows/Active Directory administration and knowledge of UNIX/Linux.
Outstanding presentation skills, able to build and demonstrate a high‑quality product overview to technical and executive audiences.
Technical background in networking, security applications and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
Willingness to travel up to 50%.
Preferred Requirements
Industry recognised certifications.
Scripting and DevOps experience.
Exposure to Identity Providers such as Azure and Okta.
Experience providing solutions to Enterprise Customers.
Prior experience with cybersecurity or IAM or other security SaaS solutions.
