This post holder will be responsible for:
Provide high‑level Executive Assistant support to the Regional Executive Officer (REO), including the organisation and supervision of administrative activities that facilitate the efficient functioning of the office of Regional Executive Officer. This includes the provision and co‑ordination of secretarial and operational support to the REO.
Lead on the operation of strategic diary and schedule management for the REO, ensuring optimal prioritisation of competing demands, alignment with organisational priorities, and effective time utilisation at the most senior regional level.
Lead on the primary responsibility for the operation, management, triage and coordination of a high‑volume and complex REO email account, ensuring timely, appropriate and strategic responses to correspondence from key stakeholders including the HSE CEO Office, Department of Health and other key internal & external stakeholders.
Co‑ordinating and managing the preparation of documentation in respect of meetings arranged for and those attended by the REO, ensuring that all agendas are in place and meeting outcomes followed up.
Aiding the General Manager & Executive Business Manager in ensuring that the REO is furnished with all required papers, (including concise summaries of key information and up‑to‑date data) and that they are fully and accurately briefed well in advance of any required attendances.
