Quality Control Specialist
The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for the testing of all raw materials, intermediates, and products from the plant. This role involves sampling products, in-process control testing, calibration of analytical instruments, green labeling of raw material intermediates and products, stability study, reference standard testing, analytical documentation control, drafting of analytical monographs, environmental test samples, and management of the Chemical stores area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing quality control testing on raw materials, intermediates, and products.
* Sampling products and managing inventory levels.
* Conducting in-process control testing and calibrating analytical instruments.
* Green labeling raw material intermediates and products.
* Maintaining a stability study program.
* Participating in team activities and maintaining complete and accurate records.
Requirements:
* Third-level qualification in Science or Chemistry discipline or equivalent.
* Experience in a wide range of analytical techniques, particularly HPLC and GC.
* Some experience in a quality control role in an FDA/IMB regulated environment preferred.
Additional Requirements:
* Fluent in English language (written and oral).
* Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
* Mature judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making ability.
* Ability to operate in a team-based environment.
* Skilled in the use of computers.
