The role ensures compliance with company standards, client requirements and regulatory obligations while contributing to efficient, high-quality and sustainable project outcomes.ResponsibilitiesDesign and Technical SupportAssist in the development and review of MEP designs, drawings and specificationsCoordinate MEP systems with other disciplines to ensure constructability and complianceSupport technical problem-solving on site and in design officesEnsure designs comply with relevant regulations, standards and client requirementsProject SupportProvide technical guidance to junior team members where applicableAssist in planning, sequencing and installation of MEP systems on siteSupport commissioning, testing and handover of MEP installationsStakeholder EngagementLiaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors under guidanceAttend project meetings, design reviews and technical workshopsCommunicate effectively across multidisciplinary project teamsContinuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve design efficiency, quality and sustainabilityPromote use of digital tools, BIM and innovative MEP solutionsContribute to lessons learned and best practice sharing across projectsExperienceEssentialExperience in mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering for construction projectsKnowledge of MEP systems, standards and regulationsStrong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skillsGood communication and teamwork abilitiesDesirableExperience on Tier 1 contractor projects or complex multi-disciplinary programmesKnowledge of low‑carbon, energy‑efficient and sustainable MEP designFamiliarity with digital construction tools, BIM and lean delivery methodologiesQualificationsQualifications & TrainingEssentialDegree or equivalent in mechanical, electrical, building services or related disciplineMembership or eligibility for a relevant professional body (e.g., CIBSE, IET, Engineers Ireland)DesirableChartered or progressing towards chartered status with a relevant professional bodyPostgraduate qualification in building services, project management or sustainabilityTraining in BIM management, digital design or advanced MEP technologiesAdditional InformationCompetitive salary26 days annual leave plus additional company daysPension and benefitsUnlimited learning and development opportunitiesMuch moreOur People and Recruitment CommitmentAt Sisk Group our people are at the heart of our success.
