We are looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team in Meath.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of mechanical solutions tailored to client requirements
Ensure all work complies with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance processes
Review and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and building codes
Carry out site inspections, prepare technical reports, perform engineering calculations, and produce detailed design drawings
Coordinate with project teams, suppliers, and clients to achieve successful project outcomes
Provide technical expertise, mentoring, and guidance to junior engineers and colleagues
Support manufacturing and operations to ensure designs are implemented effectively and meet performance requirements
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and proactively identify risks and opportunities
Requirements:
Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
At least 10 years' engineering experience, with 5+ years in a senior, client-facing capacity
Strong understanding of relevant industry regulations, codes, and quality management systems
Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, DraftSight, Revit, or BIM tools
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Full driving license with flexibility to travel as required
