Home and Away Care are recruiting Homecare Assistants - in Cork City and West Cork including Ballincollig, Kinsale, Bandon, Timoleague, Ballineen, Newcestown and Clonakilty to provide Homecare for our clients. We provide Personal care, Medication prompting, Companionship, Assistance with transfers and mobility, Light house hold duties including Meal preparation.
Candidates should have:
* a full clean driver's license and a car
* experienced Healthcare/Homecare Assistant of at least 1 year in providing direct personal care, in a Homecare or Hospital /Nursing home setting.
* Willing to start Training and achieve a QQI level 5 Healthcare Support qualification in at least 2 modules - Care Skills and Care of the Elderly
* a QQI level 5 Healthcare Support qualification in at least 2 modules - Care Skills and Care of the Elderly or equivalent
* a Caring disposition, Compassionate, Reliable and Enthusiastic.
