Branch Manager Position
We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead a dynamic branch within the heating and plumbing industry.
The Role:
* Drive team performance by meeting sales and margin goals
* Develop and implement strategies for achieving company objectives
* Manage financial resources, monitor costs, and optimize operations
* Oversee stock levels and inventory management
* Streamline credit accounts and ensure timely payments
* Maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
* Support merchandising and in-store marketing initiatives
* Ensure compliance with health & safety policies and procedures
* Stay organized and provide timely responses to queries
* Foster a positive team culture and support staff development opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Performance: Meet or exceed monthly sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
2. Team Management: Lead and motivate a high-performing team to achieve business objectives.
3. Financial Management: Manage branch finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
4. Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, manage inventory, and minimize waste.
5. Credit and Collections: Streamline credit accounts, ensure timely payments, and maintain positive relationships with customers.
6. Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners.
7. Marketing Support: Assist in developing and implementing in-store marketing initiatives.
8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with health & safety policies, procedures, and company regulations.
9. Operations: Stay organized, manage day-to-day operations, and respond to queries in a timely manner.
10. Staff Development: Foster a positive team culture, support staff development, and identify areas for improvement.
