Our client, a global provider of specialist services to the Energy Industry, is recruiting a Plant Manager for a full-time project-based role at a 100 MW Thermal Power Plant in Dublin. Accommodation can be provided for the first 6 weeks if required.

Responsibilities
Oversee all site activities within scope, guiding BOP/Plant integration.
Coordinate with the O&M Manager, Warehouse Manager and EHS Manager.
Ensure the customer is updated on progress, any potential delays, and monitor BOP site progress.
Act as a contact point for the customer, alongside the Contract Manager, for all agreement and operational matters.
Receive customer instructions, control subcontractors and suppliers, and handle quotations, changes, costs, and deadlines.
Ensure compliance with operating permits, accident prevention regulations, and legal specifications.
The successful candidate
Ideally experienced with Wartsila Gas Reciprocating Engines; however, gas reciprocating engine experience is essential.
Previous experience working on power/energy plants
Previous experience managing sub-contractors and suppliers
Experience managing quotations, changes and costs
Health and Safety on site, ensuring compliance with operating permits
Qualified in an engineering discipline would be an advantage
