Lead Highways and Active Travel Projects
We are seeking a seasoned Principal Project Manager to lead our highways and active travel projects across Ireland. This role requires a minimum of 12 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Leading multi-disciplinary design teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
* Supervising and mentoring senior and junior staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
* Preparing technical reports and tender documents to support business development and project delivery
* Planning and managing design work, working closely with engineering discipline leads and technicians
* Ensuring compliance with quality assurance and management systems, as well as relevant health and safety legislation
* Coordinating your work with other members of the project and sustainable infrastructure team
* Managing client relationships and communications for your projects
You will be responsible for delivering highway or greenway projects in accordance with TII Project Management Guidelines Phases 0 to 7. Your experience should include designing and building projects, as well as multi-disciplinary design management.
Requirements:
* Chartered Engineer status
* 12 years post-graduate experience in highways and greenway projects, including delivering projects in Ireland
* Delivery of highway or greenway projects in accordance with TII Project Management Guidelines Phases 0 to 7
* Experience in designing and building projects
* Multi-disciplinary design management experience
* Ability to engage with clients, external stakeholders, and subconsultants
* Experience in creating and managing budgets
