Job DescriptionLocation: Ballymascanlon House, BallymascanlonBallymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort is currently recruiting for a part time Night Porter to join the Team, on a 3 Month Fixed term contract initially.The Ballymascanlon Hotel is a four-star property set on 130 acres of beautiful parkland, this impressive Victorian House forms the heart of this Hotel. It is one of the most remarkable historical estates in Ireland dating back to 833 A.D.Main Duties And ResponsibilitiesResponsible for guest welcome in line with company procedures To check in and out hotel guests in a friendly, prompt & efficient mannerTo respond to guest's requests for information about the hotel and its surroundingsTo arrange for special services requested by the guestTo follow emergency procedures to provide for the security and safety of guests and employees To maintain the appearance of the hotel lobby and entrance to include ashtrays and the ground areasTo perform light cleaning in the lobby, corridors and entrances by picking up litter, emptying ashtrays and properly arranging furniture.
