Job Description
The role of Senior HR Generalist is a key position within the organization, responsible for implementing and delivering HR policies and procedures.
* Assist with achieving KPI's and targets in EHS, Quality, Service, Cost, People Development, and Continuous Improvement.
* Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures and continuously seek improvements to internal HR procedures which align with legislation.
* Establish best practices to reduce levels of absenteeism in the company – documenting and managing control procedures and managing capability improvement in leadership.
* Improve existing performance management practices with specific focus on high-quality appraisals, recognition of excellent performers, and management of under-performing employees.
* Conduct all disciplinaries/grievances fairly and consistently.
* Support supervisors and managers proactively and efficiently with employee relations.
* Report and escalate any health and safety issues and promote a safe company culture and identify areas for improvement.
* Ensure completion of payroll, management information reporting on time.
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum 2-4 years in training and HR role in a manufacturing unionized environment with excellent knowledge of training, HR plant processes, systems, and personnel.
* HR Qualification/CIPD Qualified.
* Excellent IT skills – Microsoft Suite, Workday, Core is advantageous.
* Experience working with multiple stakeholders and senior leadership teams with ability to influence change.
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience leading HR initiatives and review or processes.
* Commitment to work within ethos of Medical Devices and Supplies Guide to Compliance and Quality Manufacturing and the company business conduct guidelines.
