Electrosurgery Development Lead
This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced professional to drive the development of innovative solutions in electrosurgery.
The successful candidate will lead a multi-disciplinary team at our Innovation Centre in Cork, working closely with customers to establish their needs and design cutting-edge products that improve patient safety and outcomes during surgery.
The centre features state-of-the-art prototyping and test facilities, as well as unique design workspaces. The focus is on developing new technologies and products to increase operating room efficiency across various surgical specialties, including neuro, spine, ENT and orthopaedic surgery.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, refining and evaluating electro-mechanical components or subsystems for medical devices. They will use concurrent engineering techniques to reduce product time-to-market while meeting project deadlines and budgets.
Maintaining close relationships with cross-functional teams ensures seamless collaboration throughout the product lifecycle. As needed this role involves leading training sessions on technical aspects related to commercialization processes.
