Job Description:

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to fill the role of Learning and Development Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and delivering training courses, as well as supporting the organisation in its training needs.



Key Responsibilities:


* Training Coordination & Delivery Support: Coordinate and schedule the delivery of training courses, liaise with tutors and external organisations to ensure training needs are met, and set up in-person and online training sessions using Moodle and other platforms.

* Liaising with stakeholders: Liaise with family carers and other external parties to ensure that training needs are met.

* General Administration: Manage incoming emails and calls, responding or directing queries as appropriate, draft and send correspondence to training participants by email, post, and SMS, photocopy and prepare training materials as required, maintain stock levels of handouts, paperwork, and course materials, and order training supplies from approved vendors.

* Event Support: Publicise learning and development events across various channels, including social media, respond to requests from external organisations for training, and maintain strong client relationships.




Required Skills & Experience:


* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, Outlook), experience in a busy office environment, preferably within training, education, or HR, excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels, strong organisational and time-management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple tasks, high attention to detail and accuracy in managing records and data, and ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

* Familiarity with Salesforce or another CRM system, previous experience supporting training administration, and knowledge of Moodle or other learning management systems would be an advantage.
